Working Progress:

  • Morning: First flight with the takeoff assistance from Edward

  • Afternoon: More successful flights with screen recordings

  • Reconfigured the cockpit with improvised velcro strap

  • Since Pixhawk is now roll-rotated 180 degs, we had to recalibrate

Remaining Issues:

  • Unexpectedly, the motor arm stick position shifted from right rudder to left rudder, which delayed our flights until Alex found this out in the afternoon

  • Screen recordings show discontinuous GPS tracking, could be due to interference from currents due to compact wiring in the cockpit AND/OR from the magnet that secures the cockpit

In our design, we would try to arrange the wiring and avoid using magnets so that interference is minimal.
