Working Progress:
Morning: First flight with the takeoff assistance from Edward
Afternoon: More successful flights with screen recordings
Reconfigured the cockpit with improvised velcro strap
Since Pixhawk is now roll-rotated 180 degs, we had to recalibrate
Remaining Issues:
Unexpectedly, the motor arm stick position shifted from right rudder to left rudder, which delayed our flights until Alex found this out in the afternoon
Screen recordings show discontinuous GPS tracking, could be due to interference from currents due to compact wiring in the cockpit AND/OR from the magnet that secures the cockpit
In our design, we would try to arrange the wiring and avoid using magnets so that interference is minimal.
